“2018首届世界传感器博览会（英文名称：World Sensors Summit，英文简称：WSS）”是由中国仪器仪表学会、智能传感器创新联盟和郑州高新区管委会联合发起提出举办，并得到了河南省人民政府、郑州市人民政府的正式批复同意，计划每年在郑州举办一届，暂定连续举办三届。2018首届世界传感器大会已于2018年11月12-14日在郑州国际会展中心举办，以“感知世界、智赢未来”为主题，结合了会、展、赛等多个板块内容，汇聚了来自世界各地的代表，全面展示了全球传感器科技、产业和应用的最新成果，促进传感器行业产、学、研、用要素的交流合作，助推“郑州国家智能传感器产业基地”建立，塑造全球传感器产业的“郑州”符号，有利于更好地落实“河南省‘十三五’战略性新兴产业发展规划”，提升河南省高新科技产业份额，打造全新的产业名片，拉动科技服务、会展、旅游等服务经济要素的发展。

2018 First World Sensors Summit (English: WSS) was jointly proposed to be held by China Instrument and Control Society, Intelligent Sensor Innovation Alliance and Administrative Committee of Zhengzhou National High & New Technology Industries Development Zone, official approved by Henan People's Government and Zhengzhou People's Government, which is planned to be held annually in Zhengzhou and provisionally determined to be held three consecutive sessions. The first session of 2018 World Sensors Summit had been held from November 12-14, 2018, at Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, which took “Sense the World, win the Future by intelligence” as the theme, brought together representatives from all over the world, having fully demonstrated the latest achievements of sensors in technology, industry and application of whole Globe, promoted the exchange and cooperation of industry, university, research and application elements in sensor industry, boosted the establishment of Zhengzhou National Intelligent Sensor Industry Base, created the “Zhengzhou” symbol in global sensor industry, which was beneficial to better implementing “Henan 13th Five-Year Development Planning for Strategic Emerging Industries”, enhancing the share of high-tech industries in Henan, creating brand new business card of industries and driving the development of technology service, meeting and exhibition, tourism and other service economic factors.
