Under the joint guidance of China Association for Science and Technology, China Instrumentation Association, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and Henan Provincial People's Government, the 2019 World Sensors Summit, jointly sponsored by China Instrument and Control Society, Development and Reform Commission of Henan Province, Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province, Department of Industry and Information Technology of Henan Province, Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of CPC Henan Provincial Party Committee, Science and Technology Association of Henan Province and Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government, will be held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, from November 9 to November 11, 2019. 

Highlight 1: A number of ministerial-level leaders attend the Summit.

Li Hua

Vice Chairman of China Association for Science and Technology and Director of Science and Technology Committee of China Academy of Engineering Physics. He has served as the Deputy Director of the Third Office, Assistant Director, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee, Director of the Science and Technology Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, and has won the First Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize of Military Scientific and Technological Progress Award. 

Xue Yiping

Executive Vice President of China Machinery Industry Federation, Senior Engineer, Honorary Vice President of China Instrument and Control Society, and Vice President of China Instruments Manufacturers Association. He has served as the Secretary of the Cadre Department of the State Administration of Instrument Industry, the cadre of the Instrument Department of the Ministry of Machinery of the State, the Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Mechanical Research Institute, the Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology, the Vice Chairman of the Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology, and the Director of the Instrumentation Technology & Economy Institute of the People's Republic of China, etc. 

Zhu Sendi

Zhu Sendi is honorary director of the Expert Committee of China Machinery Industry Federation, member of the National Strategic Advisory Committee for Building a Manufacturing Power, director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, member and chief engineer of the former Party Group of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. He has long-term committed to the development of the machinery industry, engaged in research on industrial development strategy, technological innovation, the core competitiveness of enterprises, informatization in manufacturing industry and integration of IT application with industrialization, achieved a number of results and won awards. 

Fang Xiang

He serves as the President and Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of National Institute of Metrology, China, Director of National Metrology Center for Time and Frequency, and Director of National Research Center for Certified Reference Materials. He is member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and once served as Vice Director of National Research Center for Certified Reference Materials, Vice President of National Institute of Metrology, China, Vice president of China National Institute of Standardization and Chief Engineer/Vice Director of Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China. enjoying special government subsidies.

Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor of Department of Precision Instruments and Mechanology of Tsinghua University, former dean of School of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, and director of National Natural Science Foundation of China from 1991 to 1995. Honorary President of China Instrument and Control Society 

You Zheng

Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, member of Party Committee and vice president of Tsinghua University, distinguished professor (Changjiang Scholar) and doctoral supervisor. he has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Contributions to Chinese Doctorate Recipient", "National Excellent Postdoctoral" and "Millions of Talents Project", and received special government allowance from the State Council. President of the 9th Council of China Instrument and Control Society. 

Jiang Zhuangde

Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, former vice-president, professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an Jiaotong University (2004-2014), member of Standing Committee of National People's Congress, member of Environment and Resources Protection Committee of National People's Congress, chairman of Science and Technology Association of Shaanxi Province, honorary professor of University of Birmingham, UK, visiting professor of University of New South Wales, Australia, deputy director of Science and Technology Committee of Ministry of Education and director of Strategic Research Steering Committee, member of Discipline Evaluation Group, Academic Degree Committee, State Council, vice chairman of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and Chinese Society of Micro-nano Technology. 

Zhou Liwei

The Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor of Beijing Institute of Technology, and Doctoral Supervisor, expert in electronic optics and optoelectronic imaging technology, pioneer and founder of wide beam electron optics theory. Has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of wide beam electron optics and photoelectron imaging for a long time, with the research area of the theory of static and dynamic wide beam electron optics as well as computer aided design. He has opened up the road for the development of China's micro-optical night vision industry in China and achieved significant economic and social benefits. He has made important contributions to the cultivation of China's photoelectron imaging technology talents. 

Tan Jiubin

The Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor, doctoral supervisor and Director of the Institute of Ultra-Precision Photoelectric Instrument Engineering, Harbin University of Technology, and leader of key national disciplines of instrumental science and technology. He has won the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of COSTIND for many times and founded Institute of Ultra-precision Optoelectronic Instrument Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology; set up ultra-precision instrument technology research base; Deputy Director of the 9th Council of China Instrument and Control Society 

Yao Jianquan

The Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Degree Committee of the Academy, Honorary Dean and of Precision Instrument and Optoelectronics Engineering College, Tianjin University and Director of Laser and Optoelectronics Research Institute. serving as visiting scholar at Stanford University and California University from 1980-1982; has been invited to lecture and cooperate in research at Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, as well as Britain, France, Germany, and Hong Kong and Taiwan of China, etc. has been engaged in the research of laser and non-linear optical frequency conversion technology for decades, has put forward the theory and method of optimum phase matching calculation for biaxial crystals, which is called "Yao Technology" and "Yao Method" by international academic circles; 

Ni Guangnan

One of the first batch of academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, researcher and computer expert of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the pioneer of applying associative function in Chinese character inputting, the first Chief Engineer of Chinese Academy of Sciences Computing Association (Lenovo predecessor) and Lenovo Group, led the development of Lenovo Chinese character system and Lenovo serial microcomputer, won the First Prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 1988 and 1992 respectively (Lenovo Group starts with and is named after the Lenovo Chinese Character System). Since then, he has been committed to the development of independently controllable information core technologies and industries; in 2011 and 2015, won the Lifetime Achievement Prize of the Chinese Information Society of China and China Computer Federation. 

Zhao Liancheng

Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University, as dual-employed academician of Taiyuan University of Technology. He once served as the dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, and the head of the metal discipline evaluation group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. At present, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Harbin Institute of Technology, head of the Laboratory of Information Functional Materials and Devices of Harbin Institute of Technology, director of Key Laboratory of Precision Hot Processing National Defense Science and Technology, and the leader of doctoral programs in material physics and chemistry. 

Chu Junhao

The Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Semiconductor Physics and Devices Expert, Researcher and Infrared Physicist of Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences. currently Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dean of the College of Information Science and Technology, East China Normal University, and the Representative of the 10th National People's Congress, He has been engaged in the research of infrared optoelectronic materials and devices for a long time, has carried out the material physics and device research for narrow bandgap semiconductor (HgCdTe) and ferroelectric thin films for infrared detectors. 

Wu Hongxin

Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, expert in control theory and engineering, deputy director of Science and Technology Committee of Beijing Institute of Control Engineering, and doctoral supervisor. He graduated from Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, and is currently a researcher at China Academy of Space Technology. He is mainly engaged in research on adaptive control and intelligent control theory and application in aerospace and industrial fields. Wu Hongxin has successively undertaken more than 10 national tasks and projects, such as satellite model missions, national “863” projects, key pre-research projects of the Ministry, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and industrial control projects.

Zhong Shan  

Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and expert in guidance systems engineering. He is currently a researcher at the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation and a corresponding academician of the International Academy of Astronautics. As the first and fifth investigators, he won special prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Awards in 1992 and 1999. has prepared more than 110 technical reports. Now he is a part-time professor and doctoral supervisor of three universities, having trained 10 doctoral students and 1 postdoctoral student. 

Jiang Huilin 

As academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and expert in applied optics, he has been praised as "the Outstanding Representative of the Third Generation in China's Optical Industry". He was once the Principal of Changchun University of Science and Engineering (former Changchun Institute of Optical Precision Machinery; He holds a concurrent post of the part –time academician and doctoral supervisor of Beijing University of Technology. He also holds a concurrent post of Vice President of China Ordance Society, Executive Director of China Academy of Optics and China Academy of optical engineering, member of the Committee of Aerospace Experts of the Science and Technology Commission of the Central Military Commission, and Vice Director of the Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory of Applied Optics of Changchun Institute of Optics and Mechanics and so on. 

Li Changming

The Academician of the American Academy of Medicine and Bioengineering, received a Ph.D. from Wuhan University in 1986, and worked for Motorola Corporation in the United States, during when, he won more than 50 invention patents, one of winners of Motorola Master Innovator Awards with Platinum badge, the highest science and technology award of Motorola Corporation in the United States. He was a tenured full professor of Nanyang Technological University, dean of Department of Bioengineering, and director of Center for Advanced Biological Nanosystems. He won the "Nanyang Research and Innovation Award" and was selected as AIMBE Fellow in 2010. 

Chen Xiangli  

As Fellow of National Academy of Engineering, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, University of Science and Technology of China, then studied in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, and received a Master's and Doctor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has made outstanding achievements in the field of laser industrial application, including more than 40 professional papers and seven patents. He won Magnolia Honor Award by Shanghai Municipal Government and was selected as "Top 100 Most Creative Figure" by Fast Company and "Pioneer of "New Chinese Manufacturing" by Forbes China. 

Yang Jun 

The Academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, full professor of Department of Mechanical and Material Engineering and Biomedical Engineering Major, University of Western Ontario, Canada; Research fields include micro-nano manufacturing and advanced functional materials, 3D printing/additive manufacturing, printing electronics, micro-electromechanical systems, metamaterials, biochips, biotechnology, surface science and engineering, etc. He has over 120 papers and cover articles published in world-class magazines in above research fields; owns 22 authorized patents or patents under examination; has been invited to give reports in important academic conferences or seminars for more than 80 times and has won many awards in multi professional fields.

Highlight 4: Participation of more than 10 Fortune 500 Enterprises

Many big enterprises gather for the Summit and the exhibition: The world's top 500 enterprises such as PetroChina, Microsoft, Siemens, JD.com, Panasonic, Omron, General Electric Company, Honeywell, Dassault System, Alibaba Cloud and other well-known enterprises will appear at the Summit, showing sensors, the IOTs, industrial Internet and other advanced technologies. 

Highlight 5: Nearly 300 Chinese and foreign enterprises actively participate in the exhibition 

2019 World Sensors Summit will be held in halls 2A/2B/2C of Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 9 to 11, 2019 with nearly 20,000 m2 exhibition area and about 300 Chinese and foreign enterprises actively participating in the Expo. In the Exhibition, the research, development and innovation of sensors will be taken as the core, and system integration and application of sensors will be taken as entry point, which involves applications, standard development and related components of sensors and affiliated enterprise at upstream and downstream of industrial chains will display sensor industry ecosphere on the same stage. 

Highlight 6: 21 countries and regions attend the Summit and the exhibition

Guests and business representatives from 21 countries and regions will attend the Summit and the exhibition. The exhibition area will be set up for Germany, the guest of honor. Famous German industrial enterprises, such as Siemens, SICK, IFM, WAGO, CODESYS, KOBOLD and CAPTRON, will display sensors and new technologies and schemes of intelligent manufacturing on the spot. Visitors will experience "Made in Germany" face-to-face. 

 

Highlight 7: 100 Chinese and Foreign Media will report the Summit

The Summit will organize 100 influential domestic professional media and 20 international media to make comprehensive reports before, during and after the Summit, and organize 20 of them to make on-the-spot reports, live video broadcasts, guest interviews and other publicity. 

Highlight 8: 15 international organizations are involved in the formation of the "International Coalition of Intelligent Sensors"
